Territorial Cohesion streamlines and facilitates administrative procedures in municipalities at risk of depopulation through the mobile Citizen Service Office

The Director General of Local Administration and Depopulation at the Department of Territorial Cohesion, Jesús María Rodríguez, and the Managing Director of the public company NASERTIC, Luis Campos, met in Murillo el Fruto this morning with local mayors and representatives of the Zona Media Local Action Group to review the service provided in recent weeks by the Mobile Citizen Service Office in municipalities at risk of depopulation.

Over 22 days of service, the Mobile Office has visited the municipalities of Petilla de Aragón, Sangüesa / Zangoza, Aibar / Oibar, Eslava, Sada, Unzué / Untzue, Aoiz / Agoitz, Aribe, Ezcároz / Ezkaroze, Roncal, Ezkurra, Beintza-Labaien, Murillo el Cuende and Murillo el Fruto. During these visits, more than 350 people have been assisted. The main procedures carried out include 254 digital accreditations, 48 instances of support with digital procedures and more than 150 enquiries regarding aid and procedures of the Government of Navarra.

According to Director General Rodríguez, “the arrival of the Mobile Office to municipalities at risk of depopulation is a practical example of the more than 154 measures being implemented as part of the Strategy to Combat Depopulation, aimed at promoting territorial cohesion and quality of life in all municipalities of Navarra.”

Rodríguez emphasised that beyond the figures for the procedures carried out, “we want to highlight the warm welcome from the mayors of the localities, who have enthusiastically received this new service, and especially the response from residents, who have expressed their appreciation for the convenience, practicality and speed of the service. It is also important to highlight the support this service provides for older people.”

In the words of NASERTIC’s Managing Director, Luis Campos, “the Mobile Citizen Service Office is a service that promotes equality and cohesion between territories by bringing municipalities at risk of depopulation the opportunity to carry out a wide range of procedures related to the Regional Administration. This avoids unnecessary travel and facilitates administrative procedures in a close, agile and personalised manner.”

The Mobile Citizen Service Office

This service, launched by the Department of Presidency and Equality on 18 March and managed by the public company NASERTIC, is designed to guarantee equitable access to basic services in Navarrese localities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants. Since the beginning of its deployments, more than half of the assistance provided has been related to obtaining digital certificates and access credentials for online procedures with public administrations.

This month, the Mobile Office concludes its route in San Martín de Unx. It offers general information on services, programmes and aid of the Government of Navarra. In addition, it provides assistance to citizens for the processing of licences, access to the Personal Health Folder and the Citizen Folder, accreditation in the Cl@ve system, obtaining the digital certificate, and registering documentation addressed to any public administration. The Mobile Office also provides information on the Strategy to Combat Depopulation and the resources available at www.despoblacion.navarra.es
