The Navarra Employment Service – Nafar Lansare assists more than 350 people and 20 companies through a new mobile employment service touring the Ribera
The Navarra Employment Service – Nafar Lansare (SNE‑NL) concludes a successful intervention of its work with the Mobile Citizen Service Office, a strategic resource designed to ensure access in localities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants. This unit seeks to foster cohesion and territorial balance in employment, especially in rural areas that have historically shown lower labour market participation and employment rates.
The rollout in the Ribera region demonstrates the direct impact of policies focused on local implementation. In this area, SNE‑NL provided services in eight towns: in October in the localities of Murchante, Cintruénigo, Cascante, Ribaforada and Fitero; and throughout November in Milagro, Castejón and Cortes.
The service figures in these municipalities are significant: more than 350 people were assisted, both through one‑to‑one guidance and the scheduled workshops. The office not only assisted jobseekers, but also advised companies in the area. During this period of intervention in the Ribera, 20 local companies received support. In total, 42 workshops were held on crucial topics such as SNE‑NL’s services for companies, the Youth Guarantee, and guidance for active job search, among others.
The Managing Director of SNE‑NL, Miriam Martón, highlighted the importance of this service, “which works face‑to‑face with citizens to bridge the digital divide and address difficulties that can only be resolved with the direct help of frontline professionals.”
Commitment to Inclusion and Personalised Attention
The Government of Navarra’s mobile office, promoted by the Department of Presidency and Equality, is a key tool to curb depopulation and promote more balanced and sustainable development across the territory. One of the main objectives of this mobile unit is to avoid unnecessary travel and make it easier for citizens to complete administrative procedures in an accessible, agile and personalised manner.
Through a service agreement with the public company NASERTIC, SNE‑NL has offered personalised support: career guidance, employability assessment, information on job vacancies, training courses and entrepreneurship advice. This support is part of SNE‑NL’s integrated guidance system, which acts as the single point of entry to the service. Special attention is given to people with disabilities and those in or at risk of vulnerability, ensuring continuous support based on their needs.
In addition to specific employment services, the office helps resolve issues related to the regional administration, such as obtaining general information on programmes and aid, securing the digital certificate or submitting documentation.
Since its launch, the Government of Navarra’s Mobile Citizen Service Office has assisted 3,405 people and visited 46 municipalities in the Comunidad Foral. Of the total number of people assisted (3,405), 1,975 were women and 1,430 were men, underscoring the strong public response to bringing the Administration closer to the most remote areas.
The office is 100% accessible. To ensure full inclusion, it has a platform lift for access by people with reduced mobility, an induction loop system for people with hearing impairments, Braille signage and tactile floor guides, audio descriptions and Easy‑to‑Read signage.
