The Government of Navarra deploys its Mobile Citizen Service Office in Olazagutía to bring Public Administration closer to rural areas
The Government of Navarra will activate the Mobile Citizen Service Office in the municipality of Olazti / Olazagutía from 8 to 11 July, inclusive, as part of its commitment to ensuring a more inclusive, accessible and territorially balanced public administration. The unit, managed by the public company NASERTIC, will be located in the Erburua Sports Centre car park and will operate from 9:00 to 14:15.
This mobile unit is aimed at towns in Navarra with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants and seeks to bring regional government services closer to rural or less densely populated areas, thus reducing territorial gaps in access to public services.
Citizens will be able to complete various administrative procedures, such as submitting documents addressed to any administration, and submitting complaints and suggestions regarding the functioning of public services.
Staff from the Mobile Citizen Service Office will also provide assistance in creating and using digital identity (Cl@ve system) for electronic procedures, as well as information and guidance on various services and benefits offered by the Government of Navarra, such as large-family and single-parent-family certificates; financial aid for extraordinary expenses (hearing aids, optical treatments, orthodontics); subsidies to support work–life balance in single-parent families; processing hunting and fishing licences; applying for the Youth Transport Card, Youth Card and grants for post-compulsory studies; accessing and using the Personal Health Folder; or any other procedure for which citizens request assistance.
Accessible, functional and versatile office
The Mobile Office includes a 41.40-square-metre multipurpose area equipped with a large-format screen, printer, seven tables and forty chairs, allowing it to be used as a training room, exhibition space, venue for participatory processes or information campaigns. It also has a 10.70-square-metre glass-enclosed office, soundproofed and equipped with blackout blinds, designed to ensure confidentiality for certain procedures.
In line with the regional government's commitment to universal accessibility, the unit incorporates multiple adapted resources: Braille signage, tactile floor guides, sign language support (via the SVisual system), an induction loop system and Easy-to-Read signage.
Bilingual service and shared governance
Staff provide service in Spanish and Basque. The mobile office is also available for use by other departments of the Government of Navarra that require spaces for informational or training activities across the region.
Municipalities interested in requesting the presence of this mobile unit in their towns may contact the public company NASERTIC, attached to the Department of Presidency and Equality, by emailing oficinamovil@nasertic.es or by calling 848 427 766.
