Government of Navarra’s Mobile Office has served over 1,000 people since launch in March

The Government of Navarra’s mobile citizen service office has already served more than one thousand people since it was launched in mid‑March. It is a versatile and accessible space that the regional government introduced this year to bring citizen services closer to towns with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants.

So far, 12 municipalities have benefited from this service managed by NASERTIC, a public company attached to the Department of Presidency and Equality. These municipalities are Lodosa, Fitero, Villava / Atarrabia, Doneztebe / Santesteban, Salinas de Oro / Jaitz, Guesálaz / Gesalatz, Cendea de Cizur, Valle de Yerri / Deierri, Valtierra, Tafalla, Allo and Los Arcos.

Of the 1,051 people served, 55% have been women and 45% men. By age group, the largest number corresponds to people over 66 years old, followed by those aged between 46 and 65, and then those between 31 and 45.

Regarding the type of procedures carried out by regarding the services requested, those related to obtaining digital ID accreditation services (obtaining the certificate via app, accreditation of the digital certificate or Clav@ system) have been the most frequent, representing 52% of all procedures completed. These are followed by procedures related to requests for information (36%), online processing assistance (8%) and, lastly, document registration (4%). In total, the Mobile Office staff have completed 1,443 procedures in these two months of service.

Municipalities Satisfied with the Service

“Closeness and ease of access to services” are the aspects highlighted by users during the two months of operation, according to a survey carried out among the municipalities visited by the Mobile Office.

When asked for an overall assessment of the service, local councils gave a score of 9.5 out of 10 to the Mobile Citizen Service Office—the same average rating when asked whether they would recommend this service to other municipalities. Municipalities interested in hosting the Mobile Office can request a visit by emailing oficinamovil@nasertic.es.

After providing its services this week in the Valle de la Ulzama, the Mobile Citizen Service Office is scheduled to visit Ablitas (9–13 June), Larraga (16–20 June) and Cáseda (23–27 June). In July, the service is expected to be deployed in Villafranca (30 June–4 July), Olazti / Olazaguitia (8–11 July), Corella (14–18 July) and Peralta / Azkoien (21–24 July).

Versatile 40‑Square‑Meter Space

The office features a 41.40‑square‑meter multipurpose area, open‑plan, with 7 tables and 40 chairs, providing great versatility to the space and equipment and offering multiple possibilities for use. It also has a 10.70‑square‑meter office area, glass‑enclosed, isolated, soundproofed and equipped with blackout blinds to ensure privacy.

It is a 100% accessible space, featuring Svisual Spanish Sign Language services, Braille signage and tactile floor guides, as well as an induction loop system for hearing assistance and Easy‑to‑Read signage.

Staff provide assistance in both Spanish and Basque. Citizen Service offerings in both languages include: information on services provided by the Government of Navarra; registration of documents addressed to any administration; assistance in creating and using digital identity, as well as carrying out procedures online; and collection of complaints and suggestions about the regional administration.

It is worth highlighting that the mobile citizen service office is a project launched under the 1st Open Government Plan and reflects the regional government’s commitment to a new model of citizen care and engagement.
