The Joint Action on the Extended Electronic Health Record (Xt‑EHR) supports the EC’s political priority “A Europe fit for the digital age” through the implementation of the main objective of the EU4Health Programme to “strengthen health systems”. This project will reinforce cooperation among Member States in the field of interoperability and the exchange of health data, contribute to laying the groundwork for better primary use of electronic health data, the upcoming new regulation for the European Health Data Space (EHDS), and empower people to control their health data.

More specifically, the Xt‑EHR proposal will prepare implementation guidelines, technical specifications and a conformity assessment framework for the adoption of the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF) at European level.

NASERTIC, in response to the actions set out in the Comprehensive Personalised Medicine Strategy of Navarra, participates, representing Navarra, as an affiliated entity in the Spanish node coordinated by the Ministry of Health.
