Territorial Innovation Centres (CIT) are collaborative networks that promote initiatives to revitalise rural areas, addressing challenges such as depopulation. They are strategic spaces from which to drive the creation and development of activities in these rural areas, as well as to rethink the way work is carried out. They serve as a place for joint work between key stakeholders from the business sector, innovation and technological development entities, local organisations, and governments to propose and develop innovative collaborative projects that improve the competitiveness of the socioeconomic fabric and help retain talent in municipalities highly vulnerable to depopulation.
The Territorial Innovation Centers will have physical locations by the end of 2026 in Sangüesa (former slaughterhouse) and Estella (former ORVE building). These are innovation spaces where the entire ecosystem will have access to at least a coworking space and a technological living lab, depending on the challenges and lines of action identified in each territory.
