LABAJERA and the IRIS Hub strengthen their collaboration to accelerate digital transformation in Navarrese companies
This Monday, the IRIS Hub hosted a working session jointly organised with LABAJERA, aimed at strengthening collaboration between both entities and advancing new lines of action focused on the digital transformation of Navarre’s business ecosystem.
The session was opened by Juan Luis García, Regional Minister for University, Innovation and Digital Transformation and President of the IRIS Hub, who highlighted that “the IRIS Hub is a unique infrastructure with state-of-the-art equipment.” He added that “the services provided here help startups and companies accelerate and improve the quality of their projects through innovation and digital transformation.”
Likewise, the Director General for Energy and Digital Transition, Business R&D&I and Entrepreneurship, Garbiñe Basterra, addressed the main areas of interest related to business digital transition, placing special emphasis on digitalisation support schemes and funding opportunities for competitive projects. “Digitalisation is a key process that all companies in Navarre must develop to improve their competitiveness and efficiency. Through digitalisation grants and support for digital business development, we accompany and facilitate this digital transformation process, without overlooking the importance of specific training and skills development for people,” she said.
During the event, the IRIS Hub team presented its capabilities, highlighting the services available for digitalisation and access to the IRIS Lab infrastructure. Participating companies were able to visit the facilities firsthand through a guided tour, which included the coworking space with the participation of the resident entities: Fundación BAI, NAIR Center, ADITech, Navarra Cybersecurity Center and NASERTIC, as well as the technological experimentation areas.
One of the key moments of the meeting was the open dialogue between companies and representatives from LABAJERA and the IRIS Hub after the visit, during which potential collaboration pathways and joint lines of action were identified to drive innovation and digitalisation across different sectors.
The event concluded with a networking session where participants were able to share experiences, establish contacts and explore new collaboration opportunities.
Through initiatives such as this, the IRIS Hub continues to consolidate its position as a strategic node for digital innovation in Navarre, fostering cooperation among stakeholders and contributing to the competitive development of the business fabric.
