The ALBA Project (Antigens for Liver and Breast Anticancer vaccines) proposes the development of cancer vaccines based on tumor microproteins (MPs) and their clinical implementation. It also aims to establish in Navarra cutting‑edge technology in genomics, bioinformatics, mathematics, immunology, molecular biology and chemistry, transfer the results to the clinic and the business sector, and equip Navarra with unique strategies for the treatment of cancer and future pandemics.
